YUPIA, Mar 8: The first District Task Force Immunization (DTFI) committee meeting on second round of Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI 2018), review of Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRCV) and National De-worming Day (NDD) preparations was held here at the ZPC’s conference hall under Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye on Thursday.
Presiding over the meeting, Kaye, who is also the District Health Society chairman, was happy to witness the successful completion of MRVC in the district with 102.51 percent achievement of the set target.
“This is the outcome of teamwork and the same spirit must be maintained in the IPPI and NDD programmes to achieve their targets”, he said.
Papum Pare District Medical Officer, Dr Tasso Kampu Subu also urged upon all medical officers in-charge to work harder to achieve optimal success in the upcoming IPPI programme on 11 March. She also said that all MOs should ensure that no child is left out during immunization.
DRCHO Dr J Ado gave a presentation on the MRVC and upcoming second IPPI and NDD programmes.
He informed that the first round of IPPI achieved 97.11 percent coverage in the district, and called on all MOs in-charge to focus on achieving 100 percent coverage in the second IPPI programme on 11 and 19 March respectively.
The SMO, WHO, all medical officers in-charge of PHC and CHCs, SC and staffers attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
