Interaction on preservation of traditional prayer system

BALIJAN, Mar 11: The Papum Pare district unit of the Arunachal Vikash Parishad (AVP) organized an interaction programme for preservation of the traditional system of prayer at Kimin on Sunday.
Participating in the programme, Papum Pare unit AVP president Taba Takam opined that all the religions on this earth are created by human. But the religion, which we are practicing, was not created by any human being. Ours is a religion that celebrates the diversity of beliefs that have been handed down to us by our ancestors, he opined.
He advised the believers to preserve the age-old traditional system of prayers with proper change and continuity as and when required.
Bengia Takar, Nyetam Nyubh from Doimukh briefed on the Nyedar Namlo Movement and its importance in detail.
Priests Tadar Takiang and Chera Tapa also shared their views on the matter.
Earlier, organizing secretary of AVP (PapumPare) Techi Ako highlighted the aims and objectives of the programme.
