4 days state level orientation training programme starts

ITANAGAR, Mar 14: The four days state level orientation training programme on Development Management Programme for officers and officials of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and SIRD & PR department started here on Wednesday.
Inaugurating the programme, SIRD Director B J Duia shared the importance of management in day to day life and exhorted that in order to achieve success one has to manage time, energy, resources, etc.
He also requested the participants to update themselves with modern information communication means and be the part of the Digital India campaign of the Central Government.
Senior Faculty Dr V K Sharma highlighted the roles of officers and officials of the three departments for successful implementation of various rural development and allied programmes in the state. He requested participants to gain much knowledge from the training and be game changers in successful implementation of rural development programmes.
S W Bagang, Assistant Director -cum-Course Director, SIRD, briefed about how the management development programme has been designed for the officers and officials of three important departments, who are responsible for implementation of various poverty alleviation programmes launched by the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
Resource persons from Dera Natung Government College and NERIST will deliver lectures in different topics based on stress management, communication skills, work ethics, transparency and accountability, beside faculties from the SIRD.
