CHANGLANG, Mar 15: Changlang achieved 100.1 percent vaccination coverage, surpassing its set target under the Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) in the district.
In total, 53, 928 children in the age group of nine to 15 years were administered the MR vaccination out of the set target of 53, 851, thereby achieving the 100.1 per cent coverage.
Rapid Convenience Monitoring was also carried out, during which 16, 138 children were assessed and three percent of them were found unvaccinated. These uncovered children were also vaccinated.
Meanwhile, Changlang Deputy Commissioner, Wayong Khimhun on Thursday declared the MRVC completed in the district by issuing a certificate in a function here. (DIPRO)
