ITANAGAR, Mar 22: The All Papum Poma Students’ Union (APPSU) has written to the executive engineer of Capital Electrical Division seeking immediate restoration of the high mast electric pole at Hollongi near the police check gate.
In a release, the union informed that the police working at the check gate are facing difficulties due to non-functioning of the high mast electric pole.
“This check post is very crucial as it is located on NH 415. It is the entry point to the Capital Complex and the police need to strictly monitor movement in this gate. We appeal to the Electrical department to restore the high mast electric pole at the earliest,” said the APPSU.
