PASIGHAT, Mar 24: Thirty-three farmers participated in a training programme on repairing and maintenance of tractors, power tillers and agriculture equipment, organised at Sika-Tode village by the Pasighat-based College of Horticulture and Forestry (CHF) on Saturday.
The training included introduction to the latest models of tractors and power tillers suitable for the land use conditions of Arunachal Pradesh. Various models of water pumps and sprayers were also displayed before the growers.
CHF Assistant Professor Dr SK Pattanaaik demonstrated how to repair and maintain agricultural equipment, and the farmers were also trained in it.
