TEZU, Apr 5: Lohit Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki on Thursday asked the departments concerned to prepare for a drive to collect data on the beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat – National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM).
Chairing a preliminary meeting on AB-NHPM here, the DC said the data collection should be done “through proper identification and verification, based on the 2011 Socio Economic Caste Census.”
The AB-NHPM is aimed at providing ‘health protection’ of upto Rs 5 lakh per annum per family to poor and vulnerable families for secondary and tertiary medical benefits.
“Gram sewaks, ASHAs, ANMs, AWWs and others should be involved in this process,” the DC said.
The DMO, the DRCHO, the district panchayat development officer, the ICDS deputy director, the AUPO (urban development), and the DRDA project director were present at the meeting. (DIPRO)
