DAPORIJO, Apr 6: Animal Husbandry Parliamentary Secretary Tamar Murtem on Friday made a surprise inspection of the construction work for the PMGSY road to connect various villages in Kamle district with Upper Subansiri HQ Daporijo.
Murtem asked the contractors to carry out the construction work as per the DPR, stating that there would be no compromise on quality. He sought cooperation from the public for early completion of the road.
Once completed, the road will connect remote villages like Hankar, Yitor Pobo, Jigi, Sharijo, Mite, Niji, etc, of Kamle district with Daporijo.
Once it is completed, the road will bring rapid development to the remote villages and provide good transportation facilities for selling agriculture and horticulture produces of the villagers, Murtem said.
