AALO, Apr 6: The Aalo Town Public Welfare & Development Society, led by former minister Kento Ete organized a social service to repair the road from Lt Tape Yajo Gate to New Market area here in West Siang district on Friday.
Other residents, along with personnel of the Indian Army and the BRTF, members of the market committee, and officials from the district administration also participated.
While the Aalo military station and the BRTF provided resources and manpower, owners of dumpers and tractors pressed their men and machineries for the repair work, and quarry owners gave free access to materials required for the maintenance of the road. (DIPRO)
