ITANAGAR, Apr 8: Members of the All Kamle District Students’ Union along with Raga MLA Tamar Murtem called on Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein here on Sunday and urged him to allocate fund for the maintenance of the Ziro-Daporijo stretch of the Trans-Arunachal Highway project.
The visit to the DCM came in the wake of the expiry of the ultimatum the union had earlier served to the state government in the matter.
The union claimed in a press release that the DCM assured to sanction fund for the maintenance of the road.
