ROING Apr 13: Police on Thursday arrested an absconding drug peddler, Sipi Miso, from Intaya village here.
Two plastic packets containing cocaine weighing about eight grams, along with eight mobile handsets and Rs 29,130 were seized from his possession.
The accused had been evading arrest since the raid which had been conducted at his residence on 27 March. During the raid, three co-accused were arrested with cocaine weighing 11.22 grams, said Investigating Officer SI Taying.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at the Roing police station against the drug peddler. (DIPRO)
