ITANAGAR, Apr 25: The All Kamle District Students’ Union (AKDSU) has in a representation to the Chief Minister on Wednesday, urged him to take necessary steps for allotment of required police quota for the post of constable (GD) civil police (male/female) vide No. PHQ/PER-128/2016 dated Itanagar the Sep 23, 2017 in respect of Kamle district.
The union claimed that there has been district-wise distribution of quota for the said posts for which advertisement was published and extended upto Oct 13 2017, however, after the creation of Kamle district administrative jurisdiction at 25th Raga Assembly constituency has changed as some of the areas come under Lower Subansiri while, some under Upper Subansiri district.
It has demanded the CM to allot separate quota for the district to ensure that unemployed local youths also get equal opportunity in the recruitment process.
