NARI, May 8: The Ramle Banggo Students’ Union (RBSU) has reiterated its demand for early fulfilment of its six-point demand, including establishment of circle office at New Seren.
Recently, the RBSU, following suggestion of the Nari Koyu MLA, held a meeting to hold discussions on early establishment of the circle office and various other issues.
The meeting was attended by the ZPM of Nari Seren and other panchayat members, gaon burahs, public, youths and students of Seren circle.
The RBSU informed that Nari-Koyu MLA Kento Rina has assured to take the initiative to build the office at New Seren after the finalization of land.
With regards to construction of a boundary wall out of the fund meant for a girls’ hostel, the MLA said he would discuss the matter with the Education department, on whether the fund can be diverted.
The union informed that there is already a girl hostel at New Seren government secondary school and construction of another hostel will be wastage of money.
