ITANAGAR, May 14: The Arunachal Women Helpline 181 organized a skit and an awareness programme on child labour and child abuse at Green Mount School here on Monday.
The skit, themed ‘Protect and support the pillars of the nation; Let them learn not earn’, was followed by an awareness programme on the Women Helpline (181), which is a universal number providing 24-hour toll-free emergency response to women and girls affected by violence. It also provides information about women-related government schemes and programmes.
A drawing competition was also organized on the key theme and winners were awarded prizes.
