BOMDILA, May 17: The ‘Ball of Fire children summer adventure camp’ got underway at the Army’s rest and recoup centre in Tenga Valley near here on 15 May.
Organized by the 351 infantry brigade of the Ball of Fire division, the five-day camp is aimed at developing love for nature, spirit of adventure, comradeship, communication skills, and character and leadership qualities among the children.
Activities such as rock climbing and basics of mountaineering, martial arts, yoga, sports, mock helicopter slithering, and visit to the NIMAS in Dirang will be conducted during the camp, which will end on 19 May. (DIPRO)
