ITANAGAR, May 21: The All Upper Subansiri Village Students’ Welfare Association in a release on Monday clarified that its recent allegation against the executing agency for not carrying out rural electrification work in Upper Subansiri district (under the Deen Dayal Upadhaya Gram Jyoti Yojana) as per the DPR was wrong and was the result of “misleading information furnished by the public of the area.”
The association further clarified that the photograph published in this daily in its 19 May issue was not the executed works under the DDUGJY but of one of the earlier defunct works under the RGGVY scheme.
