Edufest 2018 begins on 29 May

ITANAGAR, May 28: Edufest 2018, organized by Lynchpin in association with the state’s leading English daily, The Arunachal Times, will be held at Siddhartha Hall here from 29 to 30 May.
This year, the fair will bring together the biggest brands in education from India and abroad, including Australia, Singapore, Japan, and Bhutan, offering courses in aeronautical engineering, medicine, filmmaking, fashion designing, hotel management, tourism, aviation, business management, and many more.
Colleges from Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, and Kolkata are also going to participate in the fair. The fair will also feature stalls providing information on study and work opportunities in Japan and other study abroad opportunities.
Parents and students can interact with representatives of various institutions and clear queries about qualifications required for courses, cut-off information, and scholarship opportunities, on the spot.
In the last 15 years, over 6,00,000 students and parents have benefited from Edufest, which is held in all state capitals of the Northeast region and in Siliguri and West Bengal, apart from Bangladesh and Bhutan.
Lynchpin fairs are the only exhibitions where all the top Indian brands like Amity, IMS Unison, Novodaya, and Manipal participate.
This year’s exhibition has a unique product called ‘Career Match’, which is Australia’s leader in career testing services. It will help students, especially those who are confused about what careers to pursue. The 20-minute test enables a student to understand what their personality strengths are and what career would suit them.
This is an expensive test but will be offered free of cost at Edufest.
Career seminars on specific topics like admission to Delhi University, careers for humanities students, and non-mainstream careers will also be held.
Entry to the fair is free for all visitors. The fair will be held from 11 am to 6 pm.
