KHONSA, May 29: Government officials, along with panchayat members and students of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission School participated in a training programme on ‘Energy conservation and energy efficiency’ conducted here on Monday by the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA).
Addressing the participants, Tirap Deputy Commissioner PN Thungon stressed on the importance of conservation and efficient use of energy in view of global warming, and urged the participants to adopt energy conservation practices at their homes.
ZPC Sontung Bangsia also spoke.
Hyderabad-based Siri Energy & Carbon Advisory Services director G Subramanyam, who was the resource person of the programme, imparted training on energy conservation and energy efficiency.
The training was sponsored by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. (DIPRO)
