PASIGHAT, May 30: The entrance gate and the parking space of the government secondary school here in East Siang district were inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner (HQ) Tatdo Borang on Wednesday.
Later, in a coordination meeting, Borang said proper school infrastructure is necessary for creating a favorable educational environment for the school children.
ZP Chairman Kaling Dai urged the school’s authorities to create “a learning environment in schools and pay special attention to the mental and physical wellbeing of the students.”
He said the entrance gate and parking space were constructed under the ZPM grant of Rs 5 lakhs.
DDSE J Yirang urged the teachers to perform well, and advised the students to be punctual and attentive.
