YINGKIONG, Jun 6: There has been no cash transaction in the Yingkiong branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) since 4 June as the main vault of the bank cannot be opened due to some technical problem, the bank’s branch manager (BM) has informed.
The BM said the matter has been taken up with the technical team in Guwahati.
The bank will only be able to provide limited services to its customers until the problem is resolved, which is expected to take some time, the BM said. (DIPRO)
