Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan stressed on “school-specific schemes based on comprehensive exercise to locate the needy schools, authenticated by photographs before and after completion of works.”
She said attention should be given to upgraded schools that struggle for facilities.
“A few model schools should be prioritized under this scheme, and handpicking only a few schools for civil works will not be allowed under this scheme,” she said.
DDSE Eto Ete highlighted the guidelines enshrined in the CMSSY, and placed various proposals under the decentralized fund to be made available to the district.
The other members of the committee also shared their suggestions.
