NIRJULI, Jun 10: Eighteen-year-old Junnu Pinggam of Mechuka, West Siang district, was declared winner of the 4th Miss Capital-2018 after a spectacular grand finale on Saturday night at Nyikum Niya Hall here.
She walked home with a brand new Honda scooter along with cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, besides a direct entry into the upcoming Miss Arunachal event.
A 4th semester student of Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, Junnu is also an ace cosplayer.
Yangchen Pema of Kalaktang, West Kameng district, emerged as first runner-up and Tawang’s Jambey Chotten was the second runner-up, winning cash prizes of Rs 70 and 50 thousand respectively.
The sub-title winners of the event were Desi Hangu Pongu (Miss Popular), Ngurang Anio (Miss Personality), Miss Taba Reemi (Miss Talented), Nabam Asu (Miss Catwalk), and Taba Nayum Niki (Miss Best Costume). All the winners received Rs 20 thousand each.
The 4th edition of Miss Capital 2018 beauty pageant began in June this year and was organized by the Arunachal Artistes Forum Capital Complex Unit, under the aegis of Miss Arunachal.
