BJP marks four years of governance with cleanliness drive

ITANAGAR, Jun 11: Senior leaders of the capital unit of the BJP participated in a cleanliness and plantation drive at the forest park in Niti Vihar here on Monday, in memory of Mahatma Gandhi, to mark four years of the BJP government at the Centre.
“The programme is part of the four-year celebration of the Narendera Modi-led BJP government at the Centre as well as the smooth functioning of the Pema Khandu-led government in the state,” said BJP president Tapir Gao.
Local MLA and PWD Parliamentary Secretary Techi Kaso appealed to the citizens to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at all places in order to avoid diseases.
Government Spokesman Bamang Felix, BJP capital unit president Tarh Soping, and several other leaders and members of the party participated in the programme.
