ITANAGAR, Jun 12: The All Arunachal Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan Teachers’ Association (AASSATA) has urged the state government to disclose its action taken report on the demand for batch-wise regularization (one batch in one DPC) of SSA teachers.
In a representation to the chief secretary, the AASSATA on Tuesday also threatened to launch a democratic movement if its demand is not fulfilled within seven days.
The association lamented that its demand had been “put in the agenda of cabinet discussion but no positive developments have been seen in the subject so far.
“On 26 March this year, a five-member committee headed by the education secretary was constituted for framing of modalities for SSA teachers’ regularization, but the state government did not take any steps so far for proper solution concerning SSA teachers’ appointment,” it said.
