NAHARLAGUN, Jun 13: Abo Tani Clan Organization president Yamra Taya flagged-off the first phase of the ‘Abo Tani Yatra’, a week-long tour programme, for all Abo Tani inhabitant districts, here from the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium on Wednesday.
He informed that besides elucidating the people from the Abo Tani clan about the importance on preservation of its culture and heritage. The team would also take suggestions on ongoing demand for a separate department for the Abo Tani clan.
Their first destination is Namsai district, from where they will move forward to Lower Dibang Valley, the Siang belt and Upper Subansiri, and arrive back to Papum Pare district.
