PASIGHAT, Jun 13: The Field Outreach Bureau (FOB) of Pasighat on Wednesday organized an awareness programme about various schemes launched by the NDA Government and its achievement of four years, here at Napit village under East Siang district.
FOB, Pasighat Field Publicity Officer, Mihir Kumar Jha informed the gathering about the schemes like Swachh Bharat Mission, Social Security Schemes, Mudra Scheme, Skill India Mission, Fasal Bima Yojana, Soil Health Card, etc.
In his speech, Dr Keshavamurthy, Director, Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) informed the gathering about various initiatives of the NDA government over the last four years for the poor, youth, farmers and women. He also informed that various media units of the government like the All India Radio, Doordarshan and ROB (erstwhile DFP) are spreading awareness about the schemes and it is the responsibility of the public to approach state implementation agencies to avail the benefits.
He explained in detail about the new Ayushman Bharat scheme under which effort is being made to extend comprehensive free health coverage for the poorer section in rural areas and specific categories of people in urban areas.
During the interactive session, villagers expressed lack of awareness and requested the ROB to organise such programmes regularly and help in reaching out to the implementing agencies. They were advised to follow AIR/ DDK programmes for more information on all the schemes and approach the deputy commissioner’s office in case of any difficulties.
Napit village secretary Nongku Gao also appreciated the FOB of Pasighat and the Rob director for organizing the informative programme in their village.
