Sports Generation to meet Senior FC in final
NAHARLAGUN, Jun 13: Sports Generation defeated defending champion Nyime Yaru FC by solitary goal in a keenly contested second semifinal match at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here on Wednesday, and set a final clash with Hello FC in the Capital Complex Dree Football Tournament, 2018
The match-winning goal was scored by Rubu Tachang.
The man of the match title, however, went to Khoda Tam of Nyime Yaru FC for his all-round performance.
In the senior category, Senior FC made it to the final defeating Khonkhung FC 2-1 in the last league match of the tournament.
Tailyang Tada and Millo Tai scored a goal each for the winning side. Taku Talar scored the lone goal for the Khongkhung FC.
Hibu Novin of Senior FC was declared man of the match.
With this win, Senior FC climbed to the second spot in the points table.
Bummer Sporting Association has already secured their place in the final by becoming the table-topper with 12 points from four matches.
