AALO, Jun 22:The first level checking of EVMs and VVPTs, which are being stored in the warehouse of the West Siang DEO, was done by the engineers of the ECIL in presence of the representatives of various political parties.
The checking process, which started on 19June, was completed on 21 June under the supervision of ADC Sode Potom and EAC Henkir Lollen.
The representatives of various political parties, who performed mock poll on randomly selected EVMs and VVPATS to asses the transparency, credibility and non-temper ability of the voting machines, have expressed their satisfaction withthe machine and checking process. DIPRO
