ITANAGAR, Jun 25: The All Lower Subansiri Youth Association (ALSYA) has in a representation to the Highway, Central Zone PWD, Chief Engineer on Monday, urged him to initiate early steps to also include the area between Pine Grove to Pamluk road in Upper/Ziro-II area of Lower Subansiri district for repair and maintenance work into the recent tender, which was released against Kamle district.
“The Pine Grove to Pamluk is the starting point of road from Lower Subansiri to other district and it is in a dilapidated state at this point and the maintenance at given three packages via; Pamluk to Dukom; Dukom to Puchi Geko and Puchi Geko to Sigen would be inadequate without inclusion of the mentioned area”, the association claimed.
The association further threatened to resort to democratic action if its demands are not met soon.
