DOIMUKH, Jun 25: The first ever youth orientation programme on devotional, traditional songs, dance and philosophy of Aane Donyi concluded on 24 June here.
The three-day programme was organised by the Central Executive Council Nyedar Namlo (CECNN), in collaboration with the Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP), Papum Pare district unit.
Attending the event as chief guest, Housing Director Techi Gubin said that “the Nyedar Namlo movement is the need of the hour”. He also spoke on the important role the AVP has played in taking forward the old age traditions and cultures of the state.
CECNN secretary general Tagu Tana Tara informed that the organisation is trying its best to put up proper pillars for unorganized traditional beliefs and make them more organized, besides seeking proper nursing and assistance from developed religious sects of the world instead of confronting them.
CECNN founder president RT Tara and Department of Indigenous Affairs Chairman, Nabam Atum stressed on preservation of indigenous faith, culture, and their individual languages.

AVP Papum Pare unit president Taba Takam informed that 40 youths from different circles of Papum Pare district took part in the programme. He also thanked resource persons Tana Taram Tara, Nabam Mekha, Tana Kuka, Tana Manju, Nabam Yali, and Namlo priest Bengia Tokur.
