CHANGLANG, Jul 4: Five people have been apprehended during a routine check by the 13 Assam Rifles at Youngchik gate, here on 2 July.
Opium and brown sugar were recovered from N Chama of the 2nd IRBN, Rokam Mamai and Ponkam Mamai of Rangkatu; Pulai Wangsu of Old Changlang, and Niranjan Das of Changlang.
They have been handed over to the Changlang police station and complaints have been registered against them.
