TAH scam accused in hospital

ITANAGAR, Jul 5: Former deputy commissioner Kemo Lollen, former DLRSO Bharat Lingu and businessman Likha Maj, who were arrested for their role in Tran Arunachal Highway compensation scam, have been admitted in Rama Krishna Mission Hospital here for medical attention on Wednesday.
The Special Investigation Cell informed that Lollen has been admitted in the hospital, while the other two are under observation.
Even as questions are being raised why the arrested are in hospital instead of jail, SIC SP Pranav Tayal said he has sought formation of a medical board to examine the health of those arrested.
The trio was arrested on 3 July and remanded to police custody for one week for their alleged involvement in the compensation scam related to the multi-crore Joram to Koloriang Trans-Arunachal Highway project in Lower Subansiri district.
