GBs receive TV sets under CMIS

BANGGO, Jul 16: Sixteen gaon burahs (GBs) of Paglam circle in Lower Dibang Valley district received LCD TV sets procured under the CM’s Information Scheme (CMIS).
The TV sets along with set top boxes were distributed by Parliamentary Secretary Gum Tayeng in a programme at Banggo village on Monday. The set top boxes were provided by Tayeng.
“Televisions are being provided to the GBs of the state in order to keep them informed about the latest development initiatives and the welfare schemes and programmes taken up by the central and state governments,” said Tayeng.
Former AS chairperson Moba Riba highlighted the problems being faced by the people of entire Paglam circle, particularly with regard to electricity.
Later, Tayeng participated in a cleanliness programme organised in the village by the BJP’s District Minority Morcha, under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
“Banggo village is a President Award winning village under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan,” informed morcha president Subash Apum.
Former MLA Roding Pertin, state BJP Minority Morcha vice-president Bondey Mili, former ZPMs Mibom Pertin and Starson Saring, and the BJP’s district IT convenor Arun Pertin also joined the cleanness drive.
