ANINI, Jul 16: The villagers of Alinye in Anini circle of Dibang Valley district recently organized a mass social service to repair the roads falling within the village jurisdiction.
Besides filling the potholes and levelling the bumps, they planted trees along the roadside.
Anini ADC Gautam Hazarika and EAC Toni Mitkong also joined the social service on behalf of the district administration.
Former AS chairperson Geeta Melo and local youth Jimani Melo played an active role in mobilizing the villagers.
