NEW DELHI, Jul 21: Founder of NGO Helping Hands and Joint Commissioner Robin Hibu received the Peacemaker Bravery Award 2018 from Foreign Minister VK Singh and former BSF GP Prakash Singh during a function at a city hotel here on Saturday.
The award, which carries a gold medal along with a trophy, was given in recognition of the NGO’s initiatives for vulnerable people of the Northeast, and for youth empowerment.
Other awardees included Umesh Misra (Adg Sog, Rajasthan), Anil Kishore (IG, Bihar), Chetan Chita (CO, CRPF, Kashmir), Md Iqbal (CO, CRPF, Jammu), Hrinarayanchari Mishra (DIG, Indore), and Manoj K Verman (DIG, Darjeeling) for their yeoman services beyond the call of duties.
