Mishra for more children’s playfields

ITANAGAR, Jul 29: Governor BD Mishra emphasized the need of more playfields for the children in the capital region, and in schools throughout the state, for their overall development.
The governor felt the necessity of developing more and more such playfields when he and his wife Neelam Misra visited the children’s park in the Raj Bhavan complex and interacted with the children playing there on Sunday.
He appealed to corporate houses, NGOs, the district administrations and government departments to adopt children’s parks and maintain them.
Mishra encouraged the children to play sports, apart from their studies, to stay physically fit and healthy. He urged parents and guardians to encourage their children to do regular physical exercises and engage them in outdoor activities. (PRO, Raj Bhavan)
