Committee seeks CM’s intervention on TAH

ITANAGAR, Aug 1: The Kamle District Trans-Arunachal Highway Development Committee has sought the chief minister’s intervention to expedite execution of work in the district.
In a letter addressed to the chief minister, the committee said that the NH-229 is the lifeline for the people of Kamle district and non execution of highway work is stalling the development activities in the district.
The committee highlighted that the socio-economic condition of Kamle district is miserably low, and called on the government to adopt a mechanism to start the construction of the Trans-Arunachal Highway at the earliest by initiating tender process.
