Thousands benefit from Sarkar Aapke Dwar prog at Liromoba, Mukto and Geku

ITANAGAR, Aug 1: Thousands of people benefited from the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ (government at your doorstep) programme organized in West Siang, Tawang and Upper Siang districts on Wednesday.
At Liromoba in West Siang district, large number of people benefitted from the programme organized at Liromoba government higher secondary school on 31 July.
Several government departments and agencies provided services to the people during the programme.
Earlier, Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak said many government schemes and programmes are meant for providing government facilities to the people of remote areas at their door steps. He called upon the people to take advantage of programme and also exhorted the government officers to provide services to the people at their door step.
Responding to the memorandum demanding posting of subject teachers, solution to various other problems like water scarcity, toilet facilities and security fencing for the school, the MLA said that many posts of teacher have been sanctioned and government is in the process of recruiting teachers. Other school problems will be sorted out gradually, he said.
Earlier, he inaugurated the Swachh Survekshan Grameen-2018 and distributed 90 LED TVs to HGBs and GBS of Yomcha and Liromoba under the CM’s Information Scheme 2017-18.
West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan said such programmes will be organized in various parts of the district for benefit of the locals.
At Mukto in Tawang district, a large number of people from Mukto area and nearby villages were benefited from the second edition of the Jan Sunwai Sammelan organized under the ‘government at your doorstep’ scheme.
Despite incessant rain, officers and staff from various departments reached the venue early morning and provided government service to the people.
Earlier, Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok had issued strict instruction for mandatory presence of all HoDs for resolving grievances and ensuring on-the-spot delivery of services to the people.
At Geku in Upper Siang district, hundreds of people from Komkar, Geku, Sumsing, Katan, Sibum, Jeru and Pongging area benefited from the second edition of the Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme, organized by the Upper Siang district administration on Wednesday.
Eighteen government departments of the district provided services to the people at their door steps during the programme. The people were also educated on various government services.
