ITANAGAR, Aug 3: Governor BD Mishra has expressed grief on the demise of the first governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Bhishma Narain Singh. Singh was the head of the state of Arunachal Pradesh from 20 February to 18 March, 1987.
“The people of Arunachal Pradesh will always cherish the fond memory of Bhishma Narain Singh as the first governor of the state. The whole of Arunachal Pradesh is bereaved on Singh’s passing away,” Mishra said in a message.
He expressed condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. (PRO, Raj Bhavan)
