ITANAGAR, Aug 6: Senior medical officer of the West Kameng district hospital, Dr RD Lama passed away on 5 August in New Delhi.
The state branch of the Indian Medical Association has expressed shock over the premature demise of Dr Lama, who was also the nodal officer of IDSP and NCD programme.
“The news of his demise has shocked the entire doctor’s community of the state. His contribution in the state in the field of IDSP, NCD programme and patient care will always be remembered,” it said in a message, and offered solidarity and condolences to the bereaved family.
