ITANAGAR, Aug 8: Sisang Angong FC (SAFC) beat Donggin FC 2-0 to register their first win in the Itanagar Solung Festival Football Tournament 2018 at AAPBn ground, Chimpu, near here on Wednesday.
Both the goals were scored in second half by Karo Pertin and Toki Taki.
Pertin was adjudged ‘player of the match.’
In another match, Donying Golo FC (DGFC) edged past Siang FC 3-2 in a keenly contested match.
Donying Golo took the lead in the 12th minutes with goal from Bijou Taga. Bani Ngupok doubled the lead scoring in 18th minute (2-0).
Siang FC’s Maklek Apang netted in 22nd minutes to reduce the margin to 2-1.
Donying Golo FC further increased the lead, when Tanli Pertin netted the third goal for the team in 25th minutes (3-1).
Tom Lontung scored the second goal for Siang FC in 33rd minutes (3-2).
Bijou Taga was adjudged ‘player of the match.’
