GFC hold MAFC 2-2
CHIMPU, Aug 10: Gabang FC (GFC) came from behind to hold Millo Aaro FC (MAFC) to a 2-2 draw in the Itanagar Solung Football Tournament at the AAPBn ground here on Friday.
Raja Tasung put Millo Aaro FC ahead, scoring through a powerful shot two minutes into the game. Sodin Taloh netted the second goal for Millo Aaro in the 17th minute (2-0).
Stung by the early two goals, Gabang FC fought back brilliantly and levelled the score through goals from Tajong Mibang and Tabang Mibang in the 28th and 68th minute respectively.
Dodo Panggeng of Millo Aaro FC was adjudged ‘player of the match’.
In another match, Kine Nane FC pipped its opponent 1-0.
Jerling Ratan of Kine Nane was adjudged ‘player of the match’.
