PASIGHAT, Aug 11: The Pasighat Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) has appointed the project management consultant (PMC) for the Pasighat Smart City project, following competitive bidding.
A consortium of international consulting companies – Tractebel Engineering from Belgium and PricewaterhouseCoopers from the USA – has been selected as the PMC.
The contract was signed on 27 July, following which the PMC carried out a site visit and organized a ‘kick-off meeting’ with PSCDCL officials.
PSCDCL Chairman T Tatak and CEO Amoy Morang, in consultation with local MLA Kaling Moyong, instructed the PMC to focus on social improvement projects such as school infrastructure, streetlights, Gandhi Market area, roads and drainage, children’s park, and traffic management.
The PSCDCL will also continue to organize citizen consultation workshops to seek inputs and brief citizens about various initiatives, the PSCDCL informed in a release.
