Union seeks regularization of DDSEs

ITANAGAR, Aug 13: The Arunachal Indigenous Students’ Union in a six-point memorandum to the chief minister on Monday appealed to him to take early steps to ensure that the posts of deputy director of school education (DDSE) in various districts are regularized.
The union’s other demands include creation of posts of headmaster, principal and sports and music teacher at every government middle, secondary, and higher secondary school; monthly release of stipends to students; inclusion of Arunachal history in textbooks of Classes 3-9, as well as moral science subject from Class 2 to 9; and immediate establishment of SP offices in Kra Daadi and other newly-created districts.
