NIGLOK, Aug 16: Several students and their parents have expressed concern over the delay in announcing the results of the admission test conducted for admission to the Sainik School here in East Siang district.
The results were scheduled to be declared on 7 August.
Over 400 candidates appeared in the written exam for admission to the Sainik School which was conducted on 22 July at four examination centres across the state. The merit list was published on 28 July, and the interviews and medical tests were held from 1 to 4 August. The merit list was supposed to be published on 7 August.
However, the department concerned has not announced the final results of the exam even after a week has elapsed. As per the prospectus, admissions should be done from 13 to 16 August, and the academic session commences on 28 August.
