PALIN, Aug 17: Local MLA Takam Pario on Friday inaugurated the office of the urban development (UD) deputy director and the UPO here, which was constructed under the 2016-’17 State Annual Development Agenda (SADA).
Responding to UD Deputy Director PB Ponung’s request for an approach road to the office, the MLA assured his full support. He also requested the officers to adhere to the guidelines. He also urged the administration to ensure that quality is maintained in the construction of the staff quarters and other buildings.
Pario also inaugurated a community hall in Sangram (Dokio Langpo), where he assured to sanction fund for the construction of a playground for the school, as well as for a multipurpose auditorium.
Responding to the demand for a PMGSY road from BRTF Sangram to Dui, and a CC pavement road from Sangram to Langrey Hapa, Pario assured to consider the demands under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.
He requested the gaon burah and senior members of Sangram village to monitor the construction work personally, adding that there would be no shortfall in funds to meet genuine demands.
