Former CM lauds missionaries for their role in field of education

ITANAGAR, Aug 23: Former chief minister Nabam Tuki expressed appreciation for the Christian missionaries for their role in improving education and health in the state, and urged them to continue with their efforts.
Tuki was addressing the students and faculty members of Don Bosco College (DBC) here during the college’s ‘graduation-cum-felicitation’ function on Thursday.
DBC principal Fr Josh Karamullil advised the outgoing students to implement the values and principles of Don Bosco in their lives, while the rector of the college, Fr CC George advised them to “work hard with honesty and sincerity and make a difference in the world.”
Later, cash awards sponsored by MLA Panyi Taram, along with certificates were handed out to the graduates.
