Dear Editor,
The passenger harassment by cab drivers and their arrest is in the news and through the popular Readers Forum, I want to tell the departments dealing with Transport, traffic police, police, the Night Super operators and All Arunachal Pradesh Travel & Tour Association that passengers have to wait for hours together at Nowgaon till tones of vegetables are loaded on a passenger packed bus. Why the eyes of the concern departments are shut? Should they be allowed to continue to harass passengers and play with the security of each passenger for their extra income?
I would request the Arunachal Pradesh Travel and Tour Association to ensure that the Night Super Services be confined to transportation of passengers only and if not, they be ask to carry vegetables only.
