AALO, Aug 28: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Sode Potom asked the officers and officials involved in election-related works to update themselves on the latest guidelines and directives of the Election Commission of India from time to time.
He said this during a meeting here with members of political parties, EROs, AEROs and election-related officials of West Siang and Siang districts on Tuesday to discuss the summary revision of electoral roll and handling of EVMs and VVPATs.
Potom said all administrative officers of Aalo have been transferred and the administration is waiting for the arrival of their relievers. He urged the election officials to provide all necessary support and guidance to the incoming officers.
Circle Officer (Election) Lijum Ete informed that most of the election-related works have been completed in a transparent and participatory manner. (DIPRO)
