NAHARLAGUN, Aug 3: The Kristi Kendra celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with religious programmes at the namghar here on 2 September.
About 300 devotees from the Assamese community residing in the capital complex gathered at the Kristi Kendra and offered prayers and sought blessings.
Earlier, the programme started with ‘nam prasang’, followed by ‘diha nam’, ‘Krishna nam’, ‘Nagara nam’, etc.
The Krishti Kendra has been celebrating Janmashtami since 1974.
